Bygg og prosjektjus wanted to establish an accessible legal tool for contractors, project managers, and clients in the construction sector. First, they needed a modern website capable of housing a large knowledge base with several hundred articles on Norwegian construction contracts and standards. Then they needed an AI advisor that could answer concrete legal questions and be trustworthy enough for a legal context: a model that only uses verified sources and can always show where an answer comes from.

The entire website was built from zero to launch in Webflow, with a knowledge base covering a triple-digit number of articles within construction law. As the flagship feature, we developed ChatBPJ, a RAG-based AI advisor built directly on BPJ's own knowledge base and delivered both as an embedded widget and a standalone chat. The model knows Norwegian standards such as NS 8405, NS 8406, NS 8407, and NS 8408, along with corresponding subcontracting contracts. ChatBPJ uses hybrid search and query-based reranking, and includes a dedicated admin panel where BPJ's subject matter experts can maintain the memories, notes, and categories used by the solution.
