Tactrl is an industry platform for Norwegian transport companies, bringing driver administration, driving and rest time, deviations, payroll data, and fleet maintenance into one system. Since 2019, Ur has been responsible for development, design, DevOps, and hosting.

Tactrl was started to clean up the day-to-day work of Norwegian transport companies, where tracking driver hours, regulations, deviations, and payroll was typically scattered across spreadsheets, paper forms, and isolated systems. Ur Solutions came in from day one and built the first version as a single, cohesive system. Drivers, administration, and management would get one tool, and data would flow straight on to payroll, authorities, and operations rather than being re-entered by hand.

Tactrl is now established as one of Norway's more complete platforms for the transport industry, with modules for driving and rest time, deviations and infringements, payroll export, terminals, checklists, fleet and route planning, and integrations with Visma, Scania, Volvo, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, 24SevenOffice, and Maritech, among others. We carried the bulk of development from 2019 to 2023, with responsibility for design, DevOps, infrastructure, and hosting. In 2023, Sigbjørn Skauge, who had led much of the development with us, was recruited as CTO at Tactrl. We ran their infrastructure through 2025 and still contribute development and advisory work when needed.
