Working closely with Carbon Limits, Ur has developed Mist; an innovative tool designed to help companies build and manage an accurate inventory of their methane emissions. Mist is used today by several of the world's leading oil and gas companies.
Mist first existed in the form of a spreadsheet in Excel, where it was possible to make a basic record of its methane inventory. Over time, it became apparent that there was a need to build a better tool with greater development potential. In 2020, the product was reintroduced, where Carbon Limits and Ur collaborated closely in the development of Mist as a web application. Since then, a number of new features have been implemented in Mist for reporting, emission reduction, cost reduction and data analysis, among others. By involving a wide range of stakeholders, Mist has been shaped to address the needs of companies at all stages of their journey in emissions control.
Mist has proven to be a premium tool for reducing and controlling emissions. By utilizing new calculation methods as well as adhering to international standards for reporting emissions, MIST has become an invaluable tool for companies and nations striving to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. Through an easy-to-use platform, Mist provides comprehensive insights into the scale of emissions, identifies potential reduction opportunities and offers tailored cost estimates for the reduction.
With support from the McBain Foundation, ClimateWorks and Quadrature, Carbon Limits and Ur continue to improve Mist to meet the ever-changing needs of the oil and gas industry. By offering a free solution that is compatible with the OGMP 2.0 standard, Mist demonstrates its commitment to contribute to a more sustainable future!

Ur developed Korsbakken's new website in 2023. Korsbakken is increasingly reaching its customers digitally, and is in need of a modern, fast and neat website. The website is multifunctional, taking the form of both landing page, information page, blog, showroom and online store.The new website was launched in 2023 and has already been characterized as “the best website in the industry”.
